  • Does 2005 F150 have a NMEA 2000 output

I am trying to hookup my Raymarine E80 to my 2005 F150 outboard, does the 2005 have a NMEA 2000 connection?

    Thank you,
    Jose Sirven

    Possibly.

    What is the engine ID?

Is there an unused bright white nylon connector in the engine pan? It will have two wires connected to it. Blue and white. Looks like this?

Finally, what letters and numbers do you see on the ECU? Should be 63P XX. What are the XX numbers.

      ECU 63P-30
I have a white plug but the wires are green and a yellow.

Connector must have a blue wire and a white wire.

Don't think the -30 ECU Command Link compatible.

        Where is fairwinds?

an easier way to tell you ask?
look near the 10 pin main harness connector.
look for two pink wires in a white capped connectors wrapped in yellow tape.
if they exist the ECU is command link compatible and can support the nema.
          if they don't it cannot.

ha - my "expertise" is limited to an excruciatingly miniscule field

but I concur, looks like a -32 ECU would be needed

and then the wiring isn't there - as Rodbolt points out.

So that would would have to be "cobbled"

And what in heck is a "white plug..the wires are green and a yellow " ?
