The plastic pieces have bothered me from the beginning.
now if he had said rubber that would have meant impeller pieces.
but I have no idea where the plastic would have come from

Im guessing his plastic means rubber. Im thinking when the impellers rubber gets exposed to high heat it hardens and can feel and look like plastic.

Pieces of the impeller is what I found. Didn't go out on the boat today, had to go to our association meeting in the Keys, lots of fun. Hooking and gassing up the boat for tomorrow's spearfishing trip, will post pictures of catch when I get back.

Went out Sunday in Miami, it was a beautiful day. At black point boat ramp by 6:30 AM back by noon to get ready for the Miami Heat ****

We did well, 1 mutton, 1 grouper, 1 mangrove, and a few hog fish.
