Cant find correct Trim and tilt motor

As the title states I'm having a nightmare fiding a motor that fits. My trimand tila assembly is a 61a-25 indicating its a 1998. All parts ive ever purchased for a 98 fit perfectly. The t and t motors im buying for it a just a bit too small where the o ring rides which would let water in or fluid out. The replacement units look like this Ive orderd one from two different sources and both were the same.

The one in the second picture has the correct base but its for a 2002-2009????

At this point I'm not sure if I should just order it and see if it works or not. The old motor had the green and blue wires plus 2 extra black wires on top that this unit doesnt have. Will it still work? This is holding me up from getting the boat in the water and is getting very frustrating to say the least.

I just stumbled upon this one which appears to be correct

This makes no sense as its listed for a 98 and supposedly replaces the same oem part number that the others that didnt fit. I ordered it and will keep my fingers crossed.

What is the complete model of the motor? Better still what is the complete identity?

The motor is a 96 but the bracket is from 98. I always order parts for a 1998 S250TURW. On the back of the trim and tilt assembly the part number is 61A-25. The replacement I found that looks correct claims to replace the exact oem part number from the first picture. Confusing huh? How could the same part number have two completey different bases to the motor?

A 1996 S250TURU came with a 61A-43880-01-00 motor. The -01-00 supercedes to the -02-00 that came with the 1998 S250TURW. The -02-00 should be the motor you need.
