2000-2001 Yamaha 150 HPDI left hand
Not sure of the year at this point! I think someone pressure washed the corner of the id tag.....
What I can read is: Mod LZ150****** 800642(I think it's a 2)

Coils have grey plug and black coming from the ECU

The plugs that are in it I believe are BKR6ES and an old set of bkr6eku in the console....

What does this thing take????

there is a tech bulliten on identifying which plug to use based on coil primary connector color. do not go by anything else.

What damage would it do if the wrong one was used? Seeing I have both linked to being used do I have to worry?

back in about 02 or 03 there were some case by case ECU changes, the 05 marine tech guide has the color code for the primary coil connection color.
the kit consisted of a new ECU,6 coils and 6 plugs.

Along with what happens if the wrong ones are used.

was it feed back into the ECU causing it to misbehave maybe?
