Any help would be appreciated with the following problem.
I have a 2005 150 HP Yamaha carburated motor. I recently rebuilt (cleaned) the carbs due to poor running conditions. Rough idling, surging and unable to reach full RPM.
After rebuild/cleaning the carbs, motor now runs great at all rpms except at idle. The motor seems to starve for fuel at idle up to about 1100 rpms. When it begins to stall if I momentarily hit the choke it begins to run smoothly for a couple of minutes then slowing begins to die out until I hit the choke again momentarily.
Did I miss something when I cleaned the carbs or could be it something else.
Any help/advice would be appreciated.
