disconnected wiring

I have a 2010 t60tlr and while looking at the wire loom,I noticed a disconnected ivory colored 2-pin connector below the starter with a pink and a black wire on both connectors. Just wondering what functions they provide and should I reconnect. Thanks for all the help !

let me ask you a question: do you have a trim position gauge? is it working?

Yes I do.it's on my tach and the indicator is a bar graph that's just blinking.

The trim sender uses pink and black wires. The sender wires need to be connected to the engine harness so that trim information gets sent up to a tachometer with a trim gauge or to a standalone trim gauge.
