how do you remove the check valve going to the crank bearings ?
part number 624-11379-00
The above doesn't make sense...
Year, HP, model # please
And specifically, what is the problem and what are you trying to do?
If you look up above and to the right, under "Purchase Yamaha Parts", you can enter your info, find the area of the engine your talking about and pass it along..

actually I do understand as I have replaced more than one over the years.
use a pick and carefully pop it out.
you will typically destroy it while removing it but its the ONLY way to properly clean the block after boring/honing.

Ok thanks very much, I'm new to this, and putting a 200 2 stroke together.
I found a small metal disk in the main bearing plate that must have come from the valve itself. I'm in Panama and the parts people say 1 month to order new valves.
How critical are those valves ? I know that part number relates to hundreds of models 624-11379-00-00 YAMAHA VALVE,CHECK
so I'm assuming its a valuable component but can find no information on the part or its function ?
