6y5 tach

I recently installed the 6y5-8350t-83 tach on my boat and would like to optimize all of the functions it provides. I've been searching online and can't find a link to an operation manual anywhere....not even in Yamaha Manuals on their website. Any advice?

Functionality depends upon the type of motor.
