I know MMO works great in a four stroke auto engine. Great penetrant and will loosen and soften hard ass carbon .What you could try is to take out all the plugs then liberally squirt the upper cylinder if you can splash it around then let it sit and next day blow it out .Reinstall plugs ..Follow up with a seafoam treatment and you are good to go.Last edited by Nautical; 03-30-2016, 08:49 AM.

Nothing against anyone (or any product, for that matter, as I've never used MMO), but why try and reinvent the wheel if there's already a product out there that does the job and is dirt cheap? I've used the Merc brand (probably pretty much the same thing as the Yamaha stuff) of that de-carb stuff mentioned above a few times in various engines. I've been happy with the results.
I've been guilty of this, as well... sometimes we spend hours "researching" on this interweb thingy looking for an answer, when the answer was right in front of us all the time.2000 Yamaha OX66 250HP SX250TXRY 61AX103847T
