when the F350 rotor fails it beats the upper main bearing to pieces just before it snaps the crankshaft just below #1 rod bearing.
the rotors have been failing since the introduction of the V8.
the latest fix is to replace the ECM and the rotor then change the rotor every time the ECU displays the rotor change alarm.
so yea,your going to have metal in the filter.
