Yamaha F20 fuel pump

I recently purchased a new fuel pump and it didn't come with the water inlet and outlet fittings. It has the threaded holes for them but didn't have the fittings. I can't figure out how to get the fittings off of the old fuel pump. the lower one will never be able to screw out because of the length of it. When I try and unscrew the top one, it actually turns the lower one as well but stops when the fitting hits the body. I hope this makes sense. I can't figure it out.

Thanks for your response. Model is F20ESH. It's a 2006. Attached is a picture showing the old and new fuel pumps. You see the fittings I'm referring to on the old one.

Looking at the Yamaha parts catalog the water fittings are shown as being included. You might want to call Yamaha USA and see what they have to say. The parts book does not shown the water fittings as being available as individual parts.
