Any F350 Issues?

Went out crabbing yesterday on a buddies boat on his 25' Center Console with twin 150 hp 2 stroke Mercs when one crapped out. He wants to repower with a single used, low hours Yamaha F250-F350.

Any comments on which is a better buy and is there anything he should be aware of or to look out for?

I would not own a brand new F350 if Yamaha offered me money to take it.

A would go with a single F300XCA.

Proceed cautiously. Exhaust manifold issues, flywheel breaking crank shaft issues, etc..
