1990 YAM 200, Starboard: After approx 4 hours @ various RPM (4000 run for 1 hr and 1400-1500 for 3 hrs) lack of oil consumption seems very low as compared to Port Engine. Can you offer a simple "in the water test" to assure the oil pump is functional?

Run engine on 50:1 premix (oil in gas), disconect oil pump link arm from carb and push pump lever to full open
disconnect oil line at block and put in a measuring cup marked in CM graduations
run engine at 1500 RPM's for 3 minutes
should be 3.07-3.75 cm(0.11-0.13 US oz)
just make sure there is oil in gas at carbs before disconnecting oil lines
