Why will the forum not let me post the name of the element with atomic number 79?

Some regular words are blocked out for unk reasons...

I'm guessing -
but some years back, when there was a fever of speculation in the price,
forums were disrupted by spam posts regarding buying/selling ****.

So perhaps that's why the word got added to the word filter list.

Now - what I am curious to know :

how did certain posters - such as 99yam40 -

get a forum "join date" of December 1969 ????

I don't remember that there was an internet back then!

or even "personal computers".....

Seems like a lot of people got that start date when some software was updated

I think I started posting here in 2005 or 6 after buying the 1999 C40 yamaha I have

I will admit I started out with computers by reading the DOS 4 book ( I think) back in the day.
Things got so much simpler with windows

There was internet back then! It was a communication network between scientist across the globe. I know I woz there.
Dos 4 wasn't around, anyone try Algol?
