Small amount of oil leaking from the side of lower unit.I have my water pump kit and lower unit oil ready to install, i will do a pressure test at that time. How much pressure should i use? I will be following instructions from a SELOC manual also any comments on using a SELOC manual?

If the TOP vent plug is NOT tightened to full torque, it will seep.
Just replaced mine as it was starting to seep. The 6' lbs was quite a bit more torque (with a torque wrench) than I was doing with a screw driver alone...Nice and dry now with new gaskets.

115 leaking oil at air vent
The leak comes from the single side hole beside the water intake,some refer to this as an air vent but I am not sure what it's called.looking at the scematic it looks like it might have some function with the shift cam housed inside the lower unit.Going out today changing and checking crank case oil. Starting her up, then draining lower unit oil checking that.
