Yamaha Enduro Differences?

I heard a motor like my F100 can be started with pull start.
Tried once... NO WAY!!! Not even half of a turn from the flywheel.

One day many years ago, 35 miles off the Manasquan Inlet (NJ) in heavy seas with both batteries dead - I pull started a 200 Merc - one pull. Now that was truly a life or death pull and I suspect there was more than a hell of a lot of adrenalin shooting through my body - but I did it.

We were in a bluefish tournament and I just had to visit one more wreck before heading back in because I was sure bigger fish awaited us there. At the time we both laughed at finding a pull cord under the cowling but with only two beers left and no radio we were surely facing an emergency. Much older now, thanks more to luck than beer.
