After receiving my shipment of new Wisco pistons for my Yamaha F150 rebuild project, I noticed that comparing the stock piston to the Wisco piston there is small valve clearance fly cuts on the stock pistons but not on the Wisco pistons.
Has anyone out there had experience installing these Wisco pistons and had done an actual valve clearance test with them to see if they need the fly cuts? cause the reason I ask is that not all the F150 models had floating wrist pins and a majority of F150's that I have seen have the pressed fit pins and the pistons on those piston assemblies DONT have fly cuts.
And next question is....... is the Yamaha model F150TXR_0410 that's fitted with these fly cut pistons a higher compression model?
