WTB Prop for 25 hp 4 stroke?

I have a 16.5' lund rebel

Its pretty damn slow with 2 guys and gear in it. I have the OEM prop on now and its a bit beat up. Would it make much of a difference if I bought a "higher performance" prop? Which one should I get and where would be a good place to buy it.

A few lakes I fish are 25 HP MAX so getting a bigger motor is not an option.

What is the max rpm range for your motor? It will tell you in the owner's manual - probably gonna be something like 4500-5500 rpm.
You want a prop that will get at about mid-point for the max range - 5000+ rpm at WOT and motor trimmed out and with your "normal" load.
I can refer you to a prop expert - he is the Power Tech rep for Louisiana - good guy, and really knows props. Give him an email - marcus@ptprop.com. He will probably give you his phone number. Tell him what kind of boat and motor you have and what performance you are looking for, and he will fix you up.
