  • Engine warning light panel

Hi can anyone please tell me what the indicator lights on this panel
mean. It’s fitted to my Redbay 11.2 with twin Yamaha MT32STI inboards and there is nothing in the owners or Yamaha instructions

    thanks

Well... this is a Yamaha Outboard forum so we (well, at least me) might be a little out of our depth. But generally speaking, indicator lights are relatively standardized.

You might want to do some googling or contact a dealer.

Just taking a stab at this, going left to right and then row by row...

-- Glow plugs - you must have a diesel engine?
    -- Neutral indicator
-- Battery issue... or more likely an alternator issue
    -- Coolant temp
    -- Oil pressure
    -- Water pressure (raw water)
    -- High water alarm (bilge)
-- Coolant level... assuming you have a closed system, right?

Again, just a stab based on what they look like and assuming it's a diesel engine with closed cooling.

Ah thank you. A very good guess and I think you are absolutely right as it makes sense. Thank you again
