70ETLF Dog Clutch internal springs - reassembly

I disassembled the dog clutch from the prop shaft on my 70 ETLF.
I am attempting to reassemble but the photos in the manual do not provide any clarity. Can anyone confirm if spring 44 goes in front or behind pin 42?
Is anyone aware of a good video or instructions for reassembly?

I thought a good photo might be helpful. I assume the bearings go where I indicated, but I may be completely wrong.

I am not sure it will help, but most are spring loaded to go into forward.
you have to overcome the spring to hit neutral and reverse
