command link(square) upgrade to plus(lcd)

has anybody made/considered upgrade? I am struggling with setting my command link plus screens. Buttons seem to be erratically responsive.
thinking about the lcd upgrade. I am running a single F-300

Not sure about what question you are asking. The title of your post indicates you want to go from the square command link gauge to the rectangular command link plus gauge. But then in the body of your post you say you are having a problem with setting your command link plus screens.

If what you want to do is to remove your square black and white command link gauges and replace them with the rectangular color command link plus gauge it is not a problem. Your motor supports the CL+ gauge. It just uses a different network than does the CL gauge.
