A P65 appears to never have been offered here in the USA. More than likely it is the equivalent to the P60 that was offered.

You might see these illustrations to determine if any of the parts for the P60 will work with your P65.

Finally, here is the link to the Yamaha USA parts book that depicts the latest fuel tanks, hoses and such that might work with your motor.

A tank is a tank is a tank. Yamaha brand or non-Yamaha brand for a Yamaha motor.

Many years ago steel tanks was all there was to be had. Most, if not all, have been replaced by plastic. Ever heard of the movie "The Graduate". Plastics are the future. Plastic is lighter. Plastic does not rust. Plastic does not damage the boat. Plastic is not as prone to condensation. Oh, it does swell up a bit if the vent is closed and the pressure changes.

What is the complete serial number of your motor. Begins with a 6.

What is the complete identity of the motor? Starts with the number 6.
