Run years - 60, 70 and 85 HP 2 strokes

I have a 1996 C60. I have been led to believe that many of the parts are interchangeable between the 60, 70 and 85 hp motors. Can anyone tell me if this is correct and if so, what was the first and last year with which I could interchange parts with my 96.

Lots of parts will be common/interchangeable, but lots of things change over the years, so, even though parts might be similar, they can’t be swapped.
