F 150 starting

I have a 2008 F 150. The other day it would crank but not start. Cranked about 20 seconds 2 or 3 times and it started and ran fine idled fine. It did this 3 times that day. That night in the shop it would start every time. The next day on the water it worked all day. We are going to Canada in 2 weeks and I am worried about a repeat. I am thinking ignitions switch problem but not sure how to check it until it does it again. ?

Forget what your thinking about your ignition switch..... I'd be looking at your fuel and fuel system first.. Then spark if fuel system is 100%

When it acts up, check the primer bulb (squeeze) and see if it's empty or full.
