Yamaha 40 alarm
I have a 2013 Yamaha 40 4-stroke out outboard. I can run the boat all day at slow speeds but when I run it hard and then slow down, the alarm sounds. I do not have a set up that includes any alarm lights so I don't know what sort of Trouble the alarm is indicating. The engine runs rough when the alarm is sounding and I try to speed up. I assume this is part of the alarm function? I turn the engine off and let it sit for a min. And it's fine. Eng engine oil level looks good. Engine coolant stream looks good. Any ideas? - Chris
