Bought a boat from a local auction twin 2014 F115 with only 84 hours on each.
the LF has the back latch for the engine cowling frozen issue. Local shop has a fix that doesn't damage the cowling but its a one time thing and they dont want to let me know because if it gets messed up then its a guarantee cowling replacement. ( i wouldn't try it anyway.)
Don't suggest lube because it will not work I've already done the research.
I can lift the front of the cowling and barley see the latch but not quite high enough that I'm comfortable to be able to get something in there
Just wondering if anyone has come across and was able to do on their own.
TIA
