  • Choke Solenoid

On the 1988 yamaha 70 hp etlg problems and now that I found choke solenoid cable unhooked from carburetor, was that keeping the boat from going from idle to up on plane and flooding top carb?
Cause I hate to put back in water and be dissapointed . Cause motor ran great then went to flooding out.. so I suspect it was getting to much fuel ?
    Thanks for any info.
Hopefully that was problem cause top carb nothing bad in it put rebuilt kit in and set float 550.
Here is what feel off motor, clip snapped off and it was laying in the bottom of cowl.

with the choke rod missing it may be very difficult to start cold. other than that it has no use.

    its not your wabbit.

if the carb is flooding its a float/needle/needle valve seat issue.
