unknown part

Trying to still figure out carb problem but found part in bottom of engine compartment.
It lokks like bullet with swivel wire on it was just laying in bottom. Description
bullet is 2.25 long wire attached is 4 inches total length about 6.25. Any one know what and were this goes thanks

look thru carbs and electrical.

I gather its not a small magnet with retrieval line someone dropped down there accidentally?

That goes inside your choke solenoid.

With the choke solenoid being unhooked like that would it cause it to flood out when trying to go fast off idle speed? I hope that was it...
