2006 Yamaha Serial Numbers

I was curious if anyone knew what the part of the serial number in the 2006 models means.....
My 2006 is an F250TXR (0405) which is different from all the other 2006 models ............ they are listed at 0406...0407....0408....0409.....0410......0411.
Does anyone know what the 0405 means? That number is not listed on the plate anywhere but in my case the water pump kit for the 0405 is completely different than all the other models.
My actual serial number is F250TXR 6P2 X 1009485.

I only figured this out because the 0405 parts list was the only one with a cup filter that did not have the sensor in it...........and it has a different water pump housing gasket.

to me 0405 means it was built in the 4th month or 2005, but I am not an expert of this stuff.
where is this 0405 listed on the motor

The 0405 on the label on the motor means just what 99yam said. Month and year born on date.

0405 in the parts catalog means all motors made from 0405 thru 0306.
