I'm doing intake and exhaust valve, spring, and seals replacements in the starboard head of a F250TXR 2007. One of the springs broke and since I have it all apart, I figured might as well do it all. QUESTION: How do these valve seals come off? This is my first time doing it all... and all is going well except I'm just not sure on this one. I have the service manual, etc. From all my research, I was expecting just the little rubbery tip to pop off with pliers... then I would slide the new tip over the valve head with a little straw not to damage it... but this picture looks like it is the whole brass insert. All new parts are arriving this week... but I have everything apart except for taking off this valve stem seal. Any tips?
