Wire-harness adapter P/N: 6Y5-85335-00

I need to install this wire harness adapter, part # 6Y5-85335-00 since I upgraded from a 2003 90 HP 4 stroke to a 2013 90 HP EFI. When I received the part there was no instructions for installation. Can you tell me if this adapter harness installs behind the gauges or on the motor.
I attached the the wiring diagram from the 2012 Rigging Manual.

Assuming that you are talking about the water in fuel warning and the check engine function on your tachometer, read the second sentence in the first paragraph at the top of the page of your attachment.

Now if you get water in your primary fuel filter cup the warning horn should beep but only when the engine is in neutral.

I did not receive adapter with motors. Installing two 2016 90 HP Yamahas in place of 2 2003 Yamahas 90 HP and need to use spare Yamaha wiring on hand in place of adapter to rig these two motors.
Looking for a diagram please
