I bought a used f300. I had a 250 with command link. I ended up purchasing dec master helm controls single station. I am using the older style square gauges not the newer style. I ran the wires as the pic I received from yamaha. I got the controls synced to motor. Prior to getting synced the key would not turn motor over motor but now it will start. The problem now is the controls dont light up orange or blue. Tilt trim works but thats it. I had to purchase 2 harnesses (#15 #12)to plug controls to bus bar. I used another 14 pin harness to rule that out. All caps are on bus bar. Gauges are not reading motor. I reinstalled my older controls and the gauges worked. It read the hours on motor but it will not turn over, assuming because motor was reset to new controls. The older controls I have to use DEVICE port on hub while the master helm controls I have to use the BUS port. Supposed to be taking the boat to the keys on Wednesday but its not looking good.
