I'm trying to connect a 703-48260-21-00 control box to my 25MLH (just did a conversion to remote from tiller). The stop switch assembly currently on the engine is different (stock) than the connection for the stop switch assembly wire (1 wire with 2 poles) on the 703. They don't match. I'm looking for some suggestions before I cut the end off of the 703 and wire it direct to the engine.

Are you inferring that you don't know the year the motor was made? -
I am not sure that I am following you.
The stop switch on the motor would be removed.
The stop switch on the 703 control box will remain as is.
The main engine harness will be modified if necessary so that the white wire stop signal coming from the control box via the seven pin harness will connect with the white wire lead from the CDI assembly.
