A sharpee pen writes on just about anything. I'd a hose. Means you write the location or what it connects to. Fgods sake....

the way you write I figured you recommended shoving a sharpee of the correct ID into the open hose or tube.
Not a very good idea, so I am happy to hear that is not what you were trying to say.
