Hi Guys, first time Poster long time reader.
Have a few issues with my 2014 F300, 4.2L offshore. Currently close to 800 Hours.
Cylinder #2 i noticed has been running a little lean (White deposits on spark plug and dirty top of piston). Also getting slight smoke/fuel smell on startup.
i have ran on the YDIS Software as attached.
Cleared the following Codes from 500 odd hours. Cam Position sensors (Both) and TPS sensor. Cleared and they didn't return.
Cleared these codes. Also found the following parameters after running for a short period (As Per Procedure in Yam Manual for checking TPS) - note the TPS value exceeds Parameters 0.37-0.63v as per manual.
Tropical conditions, 30deg Celsius day, 80% humidity.
Is there something I've missed? im a bit of a particular boat owner/mechanic and do long trips in remote areas with the boat. Also a trade qualified outboard/small engine mechanic, however been 10 years from being in the ****.
The 700 hour service included the following changed out.
- All new anodes, block, head and water jackets
- timing belt changed, all pulleys also changed, tensioner replaced (old superseded tensioner).
- Plugs & Compression test - all within 5psi - to workshop spec PSI.
- Overhaul of Trim tilt system back to pump and refreshed with ATF.
- VST removed and overhauled, all new gaskets, pump tested, filters changed.
- Injectors ultrasonically cleaned and tested.
Maybe I've missed something obvious, maybe not, motor still runs without any noticeable issues, just better to pick up these types of things early.
Cheers
