Mercury V12 600 HP at boat show

I just left the South Carolina Boat Show and WOW! …..A local boat dealer has a 28 foot tri-toon pontoon boat with the huge new Mercury V-12/600HP hanging on the transom…
they said it was good for 65MPH!…..Show price is $242,000!…..Dealer fully expects to have it sold by Sunday afternoon. The motor is just humongous! Lots of folks with untold amounts of money I guess…or darn good credit at the bank…..

so they finally came out with a two speed gear box for on outboard.
I thought that was the way to go years ago.
power when needed to push hard and then once on top get the speed.

you think 39 people would be OK on this one?

This motor is a real technical marvel….should put Mercury ahead of the market for a long time….
