Thank you for the post. Nice to hear.
We are all here sharing our time just to help fellow boaters.
I do not think you understand,
I am retired and divorced, so I have no adult supervision anymore.
So I never have to do anything I do not want to anymore
"retired AND divorced"........ Lucky Son of a........
Gun. Anyway, re: being too cheap, I'll proudly wear that one after paying $95/ hour (x 10 hours) for a little spring tuning some 8 or 10 years ago. With some tools, a manual, and a network of geniuses and magicians to rely on, I now get "paid" the $100/hr when I do the work. There's a lot I can't do, but I'm not nearly as ignorant as I was ten years ago.
Does the "tattle-tale" tachometer work with a 1999 C40TLRX? Thanks guys.

Signed,
Married (for now) and working (from now on)[/QUOTE]
Not really needed on a C40TLRX as the only thing that brings in a buzzer is overheat. so when it sounds and limits RPM you should know what is calling for it to happen.
But RPMs are a good thing to see/know from time to time
