Hope everyone is well. I see three relays listed on Electrical Diagram #2. Researching old threads, I cannot view pics or images posted that would help.

Looking at them I would have to say #11
when you do a web search on that part number this is what I saw

Thanks. It occurred to me soon after posting that I had removed the entire trim tilt unit awhile back. I remembered where the motor leads attached. I jumped the two leads and was able to get the motor lifted up and back in driveway. Supposed to be replacing nav lights and now a completely new project. New relay resolved issue. Can someone explain how this multifunction relay operates? It controls the starting motor and trim motor. I took it apart, partially. How is one function isolated versus the other?Comment

are you sure it operates the starter?
I thought it was just the up and down of the T&T motor
has to reverse the polarity to reverse the direction of the motorComment

It doesn't (T&T, part #11) operate both, just the T&T.
