my yamaha 150 1986 V6 oil tank alarm comes on and shuts motor to have i replaced tank sencer but still after 5 min of running it will go off and shut it down what do i need to look at next any and all help would be nice

are you saying the alarm sounds and it shuts off the motor?
it should not shut off/turn off the motor

No it does not shut off it will run and keep running with only half power to run on

OK , so does the tach indicate it is the low oil level or overheat?

if it is oil level, have you watched the oil level on the motor tank to see if it is dropping down to the alarm level?
