I bought a boat with an 06 225 on it. Guy told me it didn’t run right. I did a compression test and all cylinders were around 155. Test drive wouldn’t go over 1800 or so RPM’s. Brought it home and then had a medical issue. 4 sttrokes in early July. I’m healing well. I’m ready to start working on it. Things I’ve done so far is the fuel line going from rail to rail. Found a bad hose on the left side of your on the ground. I also replaced the intake temp sensor. I replaced because I also purchased the YDS software. Question is where and what do I do and go now? The YDS also says shift position switch. I haven’t replaced that yet. I have no problem taking it to a dealer but I don’t trust that someone will do the right stuff. Don’t feel like spending 5k either. Is there anyone that could help me out? Maybe walk me through the steps? I’m mechanically inclined. Thanks.
