2001 90TLR
last year I had to replace one of the oil check valves in the line to the #3 cylinder. I had extra hoses so I figured I would replace the hoses while I had it unhooked. The rubber line that connects to the oil pump itself was on there pretty good. When I tried to remove it, the entire nipple pulled out of the oil pump. I was able to get it out of the line and put it back into the pump hosing but naturally, it has had a slight leak to it ever since. not bad, but enough to be annoying. I just keep a paper towel folded up under it and change it out every so often.
Short of buying a new/used pump. any thoughts or ideas to better repair this? was afraid to use any sealant when I put it back in because the passageways were so small.
