I have aquired a 2005 F115 that has sat for a couple years without a cowling seal.
The fpr is a rusty mess that I will replace and there was no cap on the fuel rail shrader that also has som rust.
i cleaned off as much rust as a could with a small brush and added a couple drops of penetrating oil.
The valve does return when I press it, but I am concerned about potential leaking when my project get to the point of startup.
is the shrader core replaceable as with other shraders I have seen in unsimilar applications ( pneumatic, hvac etc)?.Specialized for fuel?
.I do not see a core on either SIM or Crowley diagrams and
I am concerned about putting a removal tool to it and costing myself a $400 rail.
