What determines if a prop shaft is bent on a 250 sho? What is the tolerance on the shaft?

if shaft run out is more than about .004", its bent.

testing the shaft on V blocks .0008 is good.
however testing runout to see if it needs to come apart, anything more than about .004" and its time to disassemble.
Yamaha gives V block specs.

certain other manufatures give installed specs.
