google speed density EFI and read about how it works.

but if you have no clue how and why the various sensors and switchs do what they do you can chase wabbits all day.

to properly test that motor you need a minimum of a leak down tester.
a 4 channel spark tester.
a fuel rail pressure tester.
and a peak reading multimeter and the service manual.
and the best tool sits on your neck.
without the neck tool the rest are worthless.
