I currently have a 99 SX 150 TXRX on my boat that has a damaged lower casing, the case around the trim tab is cracked and needs replaced. These are becoming hard to find and with all the part numbers constantly being superceded i need some experienced help. I found a gentleman down the road that has a lower unit from a 05 F150TXR that has next to no hours on it and was hoping the case was the same. I know i have a 1.86-1 ratio and this unit has a 2.0-1 ratio so i would likely have to swap the guts but does anyone know is the case is the same? Thanks for any help.
