Looking for information on changing from a 20” shaft to 25” on a new F115. Is it just the lower unit that would be changed or does the mid-section need to be changed as well?
I looked at bay kits but because they don’t come with the driveshaft extension or a longer shaft am not sure I want to use one.
The dealership made it sound like I could just replace the lower unit. Would anyone have a part number for standard rotation 25” lower unit? Dealer was $3150 for a new one which I’m hoping to cut down shopping online. Serial on the motor is ek6-0081 etc and it’s a 2021.
