    Hi guys!

Well, I went to the boat this morning.
I pulled the battery next to the engine and connected it directly to the connectors that go to the starter with some short battery cable leads from my lawnmower.. and I heard some low noise and was able to find a cable that was getting bit by one of the hinges/latches that holds the top cover and surely it was a positive making ground..
FIX: cut, solder new wire lead, heatshrink tubing, and black electrical tape over it.

There was also a red wire lead with a waterproof female bullet connector that was crimped with the battery positive cable on the engine side that was loose also possibly grounding with the vibration..

I also used some 1000grit wet sanding paper to clean the battery terminal contacts and where they're secured to the engine and the bolts themselves..
Rubbed some SuperLube teflon dielectric grease with my fingers and put the rubber caps back on..

    And Voilą... engine now starts..

I do have plans of replacing both battery cables altogether soon...

I did find out that I am missing one bolt from the plastic "cases" of engine (right hand side) close to where I connect the freshwater hose to clean the engine after use...

I have to find out what size and length it is and replace..

    Thanks guys for the help!
