What year is my Yamaha V4 115AETO ? Need some parts

The tag says:

115AETO
6E5
L (Left?)
362869 (Serial?)

The "hinge" on the "tilt button side" are loose and the things to flip over when tilted at max are wery rusted along with the "steeringpin". I need to know what year my engine is and if there are some places to buy this things online sice i live in Norway.

I only have model year and parts listing on motors sold here in USA, not sure what year your motor is. The parts might the same as the 115ETLN model listed in the online catalog but not sure.

I'd say it's a pre-'93 20" shaft 115hp motor. The "L" is just the 20" shaft and the "UL" would be the "Ultra Long" 25" shaft model. Look at changing the shift rod as well. Those early motors lacked the stainless pieces the post-'93 motors have. All that you see rusting was upgraded in the later engines.

Previous owner had the shiftrod replaced ($1000!)

In Europe the yearcode are stamped in the black part of the engine label and mine says "H"

My partnumber "US engineno" will be 115TLRH / 6E5
