Hi all,
New user here in Western Australia- just got myself a tinny with a 2001 25hp 2 stroke, pull start yammy and wanted to fit a reg/ rectifier on it to charge a battery for a sounder etc.
know how to wire it up etc, just simply after some confirmation of the actual part number! There seem to be hundreds on the forums but nothing i can specifically link to my model of outboard.
I've narrowed it down to this one: 6GI-81970-01-00 but just want to triple check before i buy it.
Also not against the aftermarket ones I've seen on EBay- that say "fit all Yamaha models between 1-30hp 2 stroke"- but not being an electrical guru I wasn't sure if there were any pitfalls associated with these?
