I've instaled a temperature gauge in my 130 2 strokes (yamaha spares) but the temperature indicated is ever betwen the minimum and the the first mark. Can anyone tell me thr resistence of the temperature sensor unit?

You put it in a pan of water and heat up water with a thermometer in water you compare water temp to gauge readings

Carlos,
Boats.net guy is right - you need to calibrate the temp gauge(s) before you install them in your motors.
If the gauge/sensor is way off - then need to get a different make.
Now, if your motors have had the thermostats removed, then your (calibrated) gauges may never get up to operating temp (135 degrees f.) because unrestricted water flow is keeping your motors too cool.
Good luck ,

I've lost the yamaha temparature electrical diagram. I dont know if the problem is there. . In the sensor have a black wire and a blue wire. In the gouge a blue, yelow and black. I conect the black to the ground, the yellow to (+) and the blue to the sensor.
Is that correct?
The temperature of sea water is +/- 18șC.
Thanks

Carlos - yes, those are the correct connections for the gauge (yellow to ignition 12volt).
